Early Childhood Development for
South Africa's Vulnerable Children

Scatterlings Early Learning for South African Children was founded in Johannesburg in 2003 and registered as a Section 21 company in 2007.

Our vision was to address the urgent need for quality early learning for our country's most vulnerable children by empowering women from disadvantaged communities to own and manage quality early childhood education centres.

Following three years of research and development, Scatterlings established two pilot projects: Miracle Baby Centre and Preschool in Hillbrow and Berea.

More centres were opened in Hillbrow, Berea, Braamfontein, Yeoville and Anstey's Heritage Building in the Joburg city centre.

Lollipopz, our flagship ECD centre, opened in Kempton Park in 2015.

Scatterlings ECD Balfour Mall is our newest centre, which opened in January 2023 - a first-class centre.
